Market Technologies Named One of the Best Places to Work in Tampa Bay
Wesley Chapel, FL, April 24, 2014 – Louis B. Mendelsohn, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced today that Market Technologies, a trading software company, was chosen by the Tampa Bay Business Journal as one of the Best Places to Work in Tampa Bay for the 6th time.
Mendelsohn is proud that Market Technologies is a repeat recipient of the “Best Place to Work” award. As a business man, he also understands that the people who do the day-to-day work are the frontline and to be a successful business, a company needs to recognize and take care of its employees.
“Business is about making money. We understand that at Market Technologies, but we also understand that good business is about people who like what they do and the environment in which they do it. We are successful because our people like working here. The fact that Market Technologies’ employees voiced this again in the Tampa Bay Business Journal survey says a lot about our culture at Market Technologies,” said Mendelsohn.
Recognizing companies within the Tampa Bay area which take the initiative to ensure that their employees enjoy their work environment has been the goal of the annual Best Places to Work competition. This year Market Technologies was honored, as one of the best places to work in the ‘Bigger’ category with between 51 and 100 employees, at an awards celebration held at A La Carte Event Pavilion in Tampa, Florida.
Employees of the nominated companies answered an online survey and the winners were selected based on the answers. The overall score was given based off of 10 categories including team effectiveness, trust in senior leaders, feeling valued, manager effectiveness, compensation, and benefits Market Technologies received a score of 95.07 out of 100 based on the survey results.
“It is an honor to be recognized as one of the best places to work in Tampa Bay,” said Mendelsohn. “Market Technologies is proud that its employees enjoy working here.”
The day-to-day environment at the office is positive and rewarding, but the people who work at Market Technologies also participate in breakfast on Fridays, company lunches, holiday parties, family weekends, and bowling nights. According to the employees at the company, it is a great place to work, or so they say again for the sixth time.
