You know we actively support Shriners Hospitals for Children by donating a portion of our revenue locally; but what you may not know is that we believe in more than just writing a check. We believe our patient ambassadors are also part of our Vantagepoint Family.
Our Shriners family has grown over the years. One of “our kids” has become particularly treasured to our team. His name is Bentley Rogers. He was born with cerebral palsy and his goal is to walk unassisted. Bentley works hard toward his physical goal, and we were shouting for joy when he was selected last year as one of Shriners’ media representatives too.
Here in Tampa, Shriners partnered with Chick-fil-A with Bentley as their spokesperson for a fundraiser. When we heard about it, we knew we had to help.
On June 16th, Vantagepoint treated our team members to a drive-up lunch* from Chick-fil-A…and I went big on the fun! My team was extra surprised when Bentley showed up to help us deliver lunches and remind everyone to “eat more chikin!”.
Being able to give back is a joy for us a company and for each of our team members. Our traders are part of this celebration too. Many Vantagepoint traders are actively giving back in their own communities as well as through us.
For me, this day was just proof that we can all do something…even if it means wearing a cow suit.
